Dear eFOI user,
Thank you for your request dated 03 February 2025 made under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
This refer to your request, which we receive on 03 February 2025 made under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, concerning the Housing Backlog Statistic.
Per our record, we only have data broken down by province based on recent research conducted by the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI) on Updating the Housing Needs in the Philippines. Housing backlogs have been established through research studies, as the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) only conducts Census on Population and Housing (CPH) every five (5) years. Currently, we only have the housing backlog data, based from the 2013-2017, which is hereby released exclusively for purposes related to your market feasibility study, may be downloaded through this link: https://archive.psrti.gov.ph/researchstudies/view/50
Please note that the study as of 31 December 2022 has yet to be approved for release to the public.
