This refers to your request under Freedom of Information (FOI) ,which we receive on 28 February 2025 concerning the following information:
- Government policies or orders such as decrees, EOs, or zoning laws;
Urban planning documents (master plans);
CLUP of Caloocan, Malabon, and Navotas during the said period
(1970s-1990s);
2. Housing and resettlement records;
3. Maps; and,
4. Demographic reports (if possible).
Please be advised that, based on the records of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) through its Environmental, Land Use and Urban Planning Development Bureau (ELUPDB), the earliest approved plans of Caloocan, Navotas, and Malabon only date back to 2003, and there are no records of approved plans prior to that year. We are also have the copies of the latest approved plans of the said cities, as they may include demographic and housing/settlements reports and thematic maps, usually reflected under the eco-profile/socio-economic profile/special area studies chapters of the CLUP. Kindly confirm this would be sufficient for your request.
For a more detailed report on different sectors, you may directly coordinate to the mandated agencies or the LGU office that consolidate the specific data needed (i.e., PSA for demography and other data on housing/settlements; LGU's Housing Office/CPDO for data on housing/settlements).
