Dear EMB Director, I am Gibe S. Tirol, a Doctor of Information Technology student at Cebu Institute of Technology - University. I am conducting research for my dissertation titled "Machine Learnign approahces for Predicting and Prescribing Urban Air Quality Management Strategies" As part of this study, I would like to respecfully request acess to raw air quality data collected from 2016 to 2024 for the National Capital Region (NCR). Specifically, I am seeking data on the concentrations of pollutants such as PM10, PM2.5, C02, SO2, NO2, O3 and any other pollutants included in your air quality monitoring system. Additionally, if possible, I kindly request that the data be provided in csv or excel file format to facilitate efficient analysis using mahcine learning tools. I would also appareciate if your good office could provide the following: 1. The official formula used for calculating the AQI in the Philippines 2. The classification table used to categorize air quality levels (e.g., good, moderate, etc.) baaed on pollutants concentrations. This request complies with the provisions of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). The data will be used solely for academic purposes, handled with the utmost confidentiality, and protected according privacy and security protocols. Should be there any specific procedures, forms, and agreements required to facilitate this request, I am prepared bo compy promptly. Thank you for considering my request.
