Cultural Center of the Philippines(CCP)

Warm Greetings! We are fifth-year students at the University of Santo Tomas College of Architecture currently undertaking our undergraduate theses, which focus on theater and performance spaces. As part of our study, we respectfully request your permission to tour the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), including its various theaters. We intend to observe not only the audience area but also the essential back-of-the-house spaces that support the theater's operations. This would provide insight into the architectural considerations and logistical needs that facilitate a successful theater environment. With your permission, we would also appreciate the opportunity to take photographs, videos, and measurements to assist in our research. Additionally, if there is a CCP team member available for an interview, we would be deeply grateful to discuss CCP's role in promoting and preserving Philppine culture and to answer related questions. This perspective would greatly enhance our understanding of how a cultural institution functions in both performance and preservation contexts. We are flexible with scheduling and can arrange our visit on either a weekend or weekday to avoid any disruption of scheduled events or academic commitments.
