Hi! I am a 5th year Architecture student from Pangasinan State University, I would like to request information regarding: 1. Sample architectural plans of jail facilities in the Philippines. 2. Government agencies that are supporting/ funding correctional facilities in the Philippines. Thank you so much! The requested information falls under the exceptions to the right to access information as it pertains to sensitive security-related documents. The disclosure of architectural plans of jail facilities poses potential risks to the safety and security of persons deprived of liberty (PDL) and the public. Pursuant to Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016 and its Exceptions Policy, we cannot grant access to this information.- Government agencies supporting/funding correctional facilities
While we recognize the importance of your research, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) currently does not maintain a consolidated list of all government agencies funding correctional facilities. However, you may wish to coordinate with the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), or the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for more comprehensive information regarding their respective roles in the funding and support of correctional facilities.We appreciate your understanding of our obligation to uphold security and confidentiality while complying with applicable FOI policies.
