This is in reference to your request lodged through the eFOI portal (www.foi.gov.ph) on February 2, 2025, regarding data of San Mateo Municipal Jail.

Please be informed that, in adherence to Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016, we can provide only the current jail population of San Mateo Municipal Jail (please see attached). However, our agency does not maintain data on the projected population of persons deprived of liberty (PDL) over the next ten years.

Additionally, details concerning the number of personnel/officers and the number of cells in the facility fall under exceptions to the right to access information, as these involve internal agency operations and security-sensitive information that may compromise institutional security.

Your right to request a review

If you are dissatisfied with our response to your FOI request, you have the option to request an internal review.
