This refers to your Freedom of Information (FOI) Request with Tracking Number  #BIR-485948555787 , requesting for a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Verification.
After careful consideration, we resolve to deny your request due to the reason that Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Other Relevant Personal Information is considered a piece of Sensitive Personal Information that is bounded by Republic Act (RA) No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012. You may do any of the following:
Online Verification:
Through the Online Registration and Update System (ORUS) TIN Verification and BIR Registered Business Status Search Facility functionality at https://orus.bir.gov.ph; or
Verify your TIN from our BIR Website at https://www.bir.gov.ph through Chatbot Revie where you can do TIN Inquiry, TIN Validation or Find the RDO where you are duly registered by clicking the “RDO Finder”. or
TIN Inquiry through Email Option at [email protected] and accomplish the required form (attached hereto as Annex Ä") and provide the complete name, sex and birth, birthday and active email address.
Manual Verification at Revenue District Office (RDO):
If the request is made through a representative, a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) of the Requestor together with Any Government Issued Identification Card/s (one primary, or two secondary IDs) containing the photo and signature of both the requestor and the representative shall be presented; and
If the requestor is a Corporation, a Board Resolution or Secretary Certificate shall be presented.
