About my letter dated March 5, 2025, regarding your request made under Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016 on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch; specifically your request on Income tax return - 642180986 - 2024.
In order to identify or locate the requested information, we are seeking for further clarification specifically:
- If Employed, kindly provide the Complete Name of your Employer/s, Employer’s TIN and Employer’s Registered Address?
- Please indicate what is the inclusive year of the Income Tax Return you are requesting for.
As an added note/reference, if you are an Employee, your EMPLOYER is required to issue a copy of your BIR Form 2316 pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations No. 02-98, as amended which provides that “The EMPLOYER shall furnish each employee with the original copies of Form No. 2316 xxx.” As proof that your taxes were withheld. This will serve as your Income Tax Return (ITR).
