In order to identify or locate the requested information, we are seeking for further clarification specifically on the following:

1. Do you have a Registered Business during the Calendar Year (CY) 2023?
2. Or were you an Individual (Employee) Earning on Purely Compensation Income during the CY 2023?

If Employed, your EMPLOYER is required to issue a copy of your BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Year 2023 pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations No. 02-98, as amended which provides that “The EMPLOYER shall furnish each employee with the original copies of Form No. 2316 xxx.” As proof that your taxes were withheld. This will serve as your Income Tax Return (ITR).

3. Withstanding your answer to the first query, did you file an Income Tax Return for the cited period?

4. Kindly provide your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)?

Please see attached reply of RDO 44 - Taguig, Pateros:

This is in connection with your request for information, with reference number eFOI Tracking no: #BIR-783148083310 dated November 06, 2024, for a copy of Income Tax Return (ITR)/BIR Form No. 1701 for Calendar Year 2023 from your business M.TRAPAGO LOGISTICS SERVICES.

We wish to inform you that your BIR Form 1701 for the year 2023 is available and ready for release provided that you submit/present the following requirements:

1. Letter request indicating the purpose with signature;
2. Present and photocopy any Valid Government ID;
3. Proof of Payment of Certification Fee Php 100.00 using the BIR Form 0605 (MC);
4. Documentary Stamp Tax (Php 30.00);
5. Affidavit of loss for the lost return;
6. Proof of payment for ITR’s tax due;
7. Special Power of Attorney if transacting through a representative
