I have my international flight trip scheduled for December 12, 2024, travelling to India. During this trip, I will be meeting my colleagues; our Marketing and Projects Manager (Indian), Managing Director (Irish) and Finance Director (Irish). My Managing Director sponsored my flight and accommodation as this is an official company activity. To provide context, our company is a limited company comprising a small team of four members, including myself. I have applied for an Indian e-visa. Could you please confirm if I am still required to present an Affidavit of Guarantee and Support? Alternatively, would it be sufficient to provide bank statements and certificates of my Managing Director along with my own documents? Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I truly appreciate your support.

I am pleased to inform you that your FOI request has been approved. Enclosed is a copy of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Memorandum Circular No. 36. S. 2015 or the Revised Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) Guidelines on Guidelines on Departure Formalities for International-Bound Passengers, which prescribes the documentary requirements for sponsored travelers.
