1. What is the purpose for the AMLC Certificate of Registration (e.g. for opening of account, transacting funds, application for registration with BSP, etc.)?
2. Are you transacting for personal reasons or on behalf of the business?
3. If on behalf of the business, please describe the nature of your business. Also, are you the owner of this business? If no, what is your position/designation in the business, if applicable.
4. If on behalf of the business, may we also request your Articles of Incorporation (AOI) indicating the primary and secondary purpose, if applicable.

1. What is the purpose for the AMLC Certificate of Registration (e.g. for opening of account, transacting funds, application for registration with BSP, etc.)?
ANSWER: For opening of account, transacting funds and to tract our financial records easily and certified. Our clients want to pay via BDO bank, and BDO wants us to get AMLC Certificate of Registration to justify that we are a legit business owner.
2. Are you transacting for personal reasons or on behalf of the business?
ANSWER: On behalf of my business.
3. If on behalf of the business, please describe the nature of your business. Also, are you the owner of this business? If no, what is your position/designation in the business, if applicable.
ANSWER: We are a real estate developer, Buying, developing, subdividing and selling those properties that we developed. I am the owner of the business with the position of OPERATIONS MANAGER.
4. If on behalf of the business, may we also request your Articles of Incorporation (AOI) indicating the primary and secondary purpose, if applicable.
ANSWER: I am a sole proprietor owner, not corporate. I only have a DTI certificate. Kindly see the attached file below my DTI. Thank you.

The bank is requesting for a Certificate of Registration from the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) as part of its customer due diligence on a client covered person (i.e., the real estate broker or developer) transacting with another covered person (i.e., the bank) under Republic Act No. 9160, otherwise known as the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001, as amended (AMLA).
