Good day!
I am Honeylen Mei Libunao, a student of University of the Philippines Diliman taking MA Language Education at the College of Education. I am currently finishing my thesis about MTB-MLE Programs of Private Schools. The study will have a look at the following MTB-MLE program components of selected schools: (1) choice of Mother Tongue Medium of Instruction, (2) instruction, (3) instructional materials, and (4) teachers’ competence and training.
In giving context to the study I am going to conduct, I need the following information:
1. latest EGRA results
2. latest EGMA results
3. Information on private schools’ participation in EGRA and EGMA (do they take EGRA and EGMA too?)
4. list of private schools who participated in EGRA and EGMA
This information will be included in the review of related literature (RRL) part of my graduate thesis for my masters degree. Below is the short abstract of my study:
The MTB-MLE program in the country has been implemented for eight years now and program evaluation is imperative. There have been many small-scale program evaluations done in the country, but most are done in the public schools. This study will fill these gaps by examining four program components cited in literature as integral to program implementation. By examining the language of choice for the program, quality of instruction, learning materials, and teacher competence and training, the sample institutions will be able to use the data for their local evaluations and decide what part of program evaluation they need to improve.
