Thank you for your request dated Oct 27, 2021 05:08:43 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for data on deployed Overseas Filipino Workers from 1990 to 2021. Ms. Martinez you have to do the basic secondary research or reading published materials on the studies of overseas workers. It will help also if you visit the websites of government agencies mandated to serve Filipinos for their employment or deployment overseas e.g. POEA, Bureau of Immigration, DFA and Phil. Statistic Authority. The data base of OWWA are related to its member-OFWs and is not always equal to the yearly deployment figures generated and processed by POEA and the PSA. You may also review the annual reports of POEA that are posted in their website for the number of OFWs processed or issued with Overseas Employment Contract (OEC). If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: admin.cacdac@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.
