I am Angelica Mae S Cortez. A resident of San Vicente, Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte (Mindanao). I come to you of the purpose that I want to ask help from your office to help us with our debts from my late sisters Hospital bill totaled to 507k and now 224k ( less government assistance). I would like to ask your humble office to help as to my sisters burial assistance to pay our obligations po. I am asking from your kind and humble office to please help us out. Especially help my parents get thru this saddening and painful situation.

You asked for Ask for financial medical assistance for my late sister.
Response to your request
We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated.
For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance.
For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx.
For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to . Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

Dear Ma'am/Sir,
Greeting!
Thank you for your warmest response. I would like to inform you that the social welfare at Manuel J. Santos Hospital assisted me to ask financial assistance from PCSO and they said that the Maximum amount that the Agency can give is 25,000.00. I was kinda hoping that I can still ask for the burial if any to help pay our bills. I know everyone is in their own crucial time and we too are affected. I don't know where to ask financial assistance to help my parents with the hospital bill and other debts we had when my sister was hospitalized. Please! Help me where to find or to ask any financial assistance help. I am so desperate and still in grief for losing my beloved sister. I'm begging you to help us.
P.s sorry for the long message. I still can't accept the fact that we lost her and at the same time so desperate to find any Agency that can help us.
