Hi, this is Danessa Rivera of the Philippine Star. I would just like to ask for updates on company projects for this year.
1. What are PNOC's priority projects this year?
2. What's the update on the banked gas sale and LNG Hub project?
3. Has PNOC secured PRA's approval for the Energy Supply Base Port Development Project after getting the nod from Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Batangas?
Thank you.

Dear Danessa Rivera,
Thank you for your request dated Jan 31, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your Request:
“1. What are PNOC's priority projects this year?
2. What's the update on the banked gas sale and LNG Hub project?
3. Has PNOC secured PRA's approval for the Energy Supply Base Port Development Project after getting the nod from Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Batangas?”
Our response:
#1. For an update on PNOC’s 2022 priority projects, may we direct you to this link to our website https://www.pnoc.com.ph/?page_id=3925.
#2. The update on the sale of banked gas may be found in this link https://www.pnoc.com.ph/?page_id=3906, and the update for the LNG Hub project may be found in this link https://www.pnoc.com.ph/?page_id=3920.
#3. Status of PRA approval for ESB port development project
In September 21, 2021, PNOC prequalified for the application for a reclamation permit. This was based on the documentary submissions to PRA. A Memorandum of understanding intended to guide PNOC on the mandatory requirements for the issuance of the reclamation permit was presented to the PNOC Board this February 28, 2022 when it convened again upon the existence of a quorum. All of the mandatory requirements are ready for submission to PRA. The board, however, deferred consideration of the request to approve the MOU in order to provide an opportunity for the new president, former DOE USEC Jesus Cristino P. Posadas, to assess and re-evaluate with Management the timeliness of the execution of the MOU.
The MOU has a life of 2 years and is extendible for another 6 months, if so warranted.
