We have received your request for a specialized cancer hospital, January 30, 2025. We will respond and process your request on or before Feb. 19, 2025, in compliance with the Executive Order’s implementing rules and regulations.

For items 1 and 2:

The Philippine Health Facility Development Plan (PHFDP) 2020-2040 serves as the macro plan for the country’s health facilities and a guide for national investments including Specialty Centers across regions. Cancer Care Specialty Centers include services for Cancer Care. In addition, the Department Order (DO) No. 2021-0001 and its amendment serve as the operational document for the establishment of specialty centers, detailing the list of DOH hospitals designated as Cancer Care Centers per region. Furthermore, the issuance also includes the Resource Stratified Framework for Cancer Care Centers, which describes specialty care services, human resources, equipment, and infrastructure requirements at each facility level across the healthcare continuum. For item 3, shall be endorsed to Disease Prevention and Control Bureau-Cancer Control Division

For item 4, shall be endorsed to Central Luzon Center for Health Development (CHD) & Bataan General Hospital
